Every scan captures every dimension automatically — and leaves you with a floor plan and 3D model alongside the numbers, accurate to the centimetre.

Speak or type what needs doing — "full rewire, 3-bed semi", "skim two bedrooms and the landing", whatever. AccuQuote understands trade language and works out every material, quantity and live supplier price. No catalogue. No product codes. No maths at 9pm.

A full itemised quote — labour, materials and real trade prices — sent before you leave the drive. The customer approves it in the app and gets a branded Stripe payment link straight away. They pay the deposit. You've got the job secured before you've reached the van.

This all started with a decorator who finished work at 2pm, daily.

Our founder Luke runs Slick Digital, a development agency. When he started prospecting, he quickly noticed something: builders, carpenters, painters, electricians — they'd all quietly started using technology to work smarter. Not because anyone told them to. Because it was saving them real time.

Then he met Gary.

Gary is a decorator. Over a conversation that started with websites and ended with digital assistants and AI, he walked Luke through his workflow — three separate apps cobbled together to scan spaces, work out materials, and get accurate quotes out fast. Real prices, proper numbers, professional PDFs.

That bit was impressive. This bit stopped Luke in his tracks: Gary was finishing work at 2pm. Every day.

He wasn't trying to grow an empire. He just wanted his afternoons back — time with his family, time to breathe, time that quoting used to steal every evening. Gary had found it. The process just happened to involve three apps that didn't quite talk to each other.

With Gary's help — and a group of master tradesmen who knew exactly where the pain was — Luke built AccuQuote: one app that does what Gary's three did, without the friction. Thousands of tradespeople are now getting real hours back every week. It's their time now, not the quote's.

These days Gary's problem isn't accuracy — it's discipline. The scan-to-materials pipeline is precise enough that if he deviates from the plan AccuQuote hands him, even slightly, he comes up short on-site. He's had to learn to just follow the numbers.

Do I need a LiDAR phone to use AccuQuote?

No, not for Room mode — that works on any iPhone running iOS 15 or later, with LiDAR-equipped models (iPhone 12 Pro and later) getting faster, more accurate scans. Space mode, which measures tight details like an under-sink void to ±1cm, does need LiDAR. On a non-LiDAR phone you'll get the same graceful manual-entry fallback instead.

What's the difference between Room, Space and Full Works?

Room scans one room in under a minute — your everyday mode. Space is for a detail a normal scan can't handle: an under-sink void, a window or door frame, a boiler enclosure — measured to ±1cm. Full Works maps an entire property, room by room and floor by floor, and bundles a whole-house 3D model with per-floor plans and a full dimension schedule. All three produce a floor plan and 3D model you can export, on top of the numbers that feed your quote.

Where do the supplier prices come from?

AccuQuote is an official Wickes and Travis Perkins affiliate. Where we have a live feed from one of the two, pricing reflects what's in stock today; everywhere else, pricing is estimated from current Wickes and Travis Perkins rates and clearly marked in the app as an estimate. We're expanding live coverage across both suppliers over time.

Can I use my own labour rates?

Yes. AccuQuote starts with sensible regional defaults based on UK trade rates, but you can override your day rate, hourly rate, or set specific rates per job type. Your rates, your rules.

I'm not great with technology — will I actually be able to use this?

Yes — and that's something we hear a lot. AccuQuote was designed specifically for tradesmen on the tools, not tech people at a desk. There's no setup, no import/export, no learning curve. Open it, point it at the room, say what the job is, and it generates the quote. If you can use WhatsApp, you can use AccuQuote.

How does the deposit payment work?

Once a customer receives their quote, they can approve it directly in the AccuQuote link you send them. The moment they approve, they're shown a Stripe payment page branded with your company's name and logo. You set the deposit percentage — 10%, 25%, 50%, whatever you normally ask for. The money goes straight to your connected Stripe account. No waiting, no chasing, no "I'll transfer it over later." The job is secured with a payment before you've left the site.

What happens to my quotes if I cancel?

Your quote history is always yours. If you cancel, you have 30 days to export everything — all PDFs, all job data — before your account closes. We don't hold your data hostage.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet — AccuQuote is currently iPhone only. The room scanning relies on ARKit which is Apple-specific. An Android version is on the roadmap; sign up and we'll let you know when it's ready.
